It' an umbrella term, nothing more. Like "cardiovascular issues" or "gastrointestinal problems" or "mental health".
<shrug>
My son is a neurophysiology expert, he avoids the term as it is meaningless medically. Sort of like, "Asperger's" became useless to psychologists per overuse.
Tamillia Valenzuela "she, her, ella" "“a bilingual, disabled, neurodivergent, Black Latina" school board member wants Christian-educated teachers should be forbidden from teaching in her district's schools.
Wow, so much tolerance from the liberals.
They only have tolerance for perspectives they agree with and everything they don't agree with they want banned.
What is hilarious is the school board members are "she, her, ella" and "he, his, him, el"

It was voted on and approved by the board, meaning at least two others joined her. Three of the board members are LGBTQ+ and, if I understood what I read correctly, at least one of the members not LGBTQ+ voted in agreement. Not sure about the fifth member.
People totally ignore school board elections, this is a prime example of why that is so incredibly short sighted.
True to an extent, but, at least around here, school board and local council races are always held on odd days and times of the year. It really limits who votes in these things. It's almost as if it were intentionally designed to keep the same power blocks in place. I think I've mentioned elsewhere it took almost the entire time my kids were in school to get rid of a couple of board members and get some new blood in place. Some of the board seats have been held by generations of the same family.
In a recent local court case, a council member had to show their income sources. Basically, no income other than the council stipend, but owned a home in one of the ritzy parts of town.
It’s important and necessary in a lot of places. Like cities.
And a different brain does what exactly ?
