I think it should be required that anyone who runs for school board at least have children, even better if their children actually attend schools within the school system they are running for. It might reduce the chance that activists, perverts, and mentally ill people are elected to office. On the other hand, it says a lot about the voters of this school district that they would elect her… Perhaps this was a case of only going by the letter next to someone’s name? It is quite dangerous to vote that way!
There can be no demands on a position that no one wants... you understand no normal human being wants that position... no one likes to put up with spoiled brats and their ridiculous parents... Why do you think the radical left or christian fanatics occupy these positions and not people with common sense and moderate?

It was voted on and approved by the board, meaning at least two others joined her. Three of the board members are LGBTQ+ and, if I understood what I read correctly, at least one of the members not LGBTQ+ voted in agreement. Not sure about the fifth member.
People totally ignore school board elections, this is a prime example of why that is so incredibly short sighted.
I paid attention to my recent school board elections and noticed the options were all similar and the questions asked at the debates were largely uninformative on hot button issues. In the end I just voted for whoever my neighbor with the big MAGA flag on his house put yard signs out for.
