What exactly is wrong with an LGBTQ+ person presenting to adult school councelors on topics of supporting LGBTQ+ youth and learning how to recognise and hopefully prevent suicides?
As if parents do not exist, so school administrators need to parent our children for us.
What is it with the mindset on the left, that not only does government know better what we need, but that if government does not do a thing, then no one else can or will???
For starters, children don't need to be taught how to be homosexuals, or that there are hundreds of different genders. For thousands of years, humans were capable of figuring out for themselves what their sexual orientation was.
Where in this story are children “taught how to be homosexual”?
This was a session for councelors from someone representing a suicide prevention program.

What is the issue with someone representing a suicide prevention org from spending an hour or so talking to school councelors about at risk youth?
I don’t see how that is “parenting” your children.
FTR, I am not supportive of teachers not keeping parents in the loop (unless the child is at risk from the parents, but that’s a whole other topic). But I don’t see how this is even vaguely representative of that.
For starters, children don't need to be taught how to be homosexuals, or that there are hundreds of different genders. For thousands of years, humans were capable of figuring out for themselves what their sexual orientation was.
Sex ed covers the basics, and that is enough. When I was in school, sex ed covered the basics including some homosexual sex, and how those activities could be done in a safer manner. There is nothing wrong with that, and I think they went far enough. Sex ed was basically a couple weeks. You can only cover the basics in 2 or 3 weeks. Not all the different sexual orientations and gender confusion stuff they are trying to push on children these days. It's pretty obvious the changes taking place are leading to more "gender confusion" among young adults. Education is not supposed to confuse people. Quite the opposite.

What I see is a gender confused person teaching a bunch of teachers gender confusion, paid for by the tax payers. The explosive growth of gender confusion, to the point where we have trans kids now, was no accident. This looks planned and coordinated. This particular story is only one brick in the wall.
Are these the same "educators" that will take everything back to the classroom and teach the children that they need to question their gender and what sex they are attracted to? You know, planting those ever so little seeds of doubt.
No chance there is a straight person that can host this "suicide prevention" course?
