I am opposed to border walls, because there will come a point where those walls will not be used to keep illegals out, but to keep Americans in.

No on border walls. They don't work and immigration is based on the simple concept of supply and demand. If there was no demand, there would be no supply. They will just find another way in, like they're already doing via Canada.

Expand legal immigration and illegal immigration will fall.

I do feel sorry for trump though when he was a president as some of the republican senate and obviously democrats is against on every of his plans. One thing that I do agree is building the wall. We spend more money letting illegal immigrants coming in united states than actually just building a wall. We are giving free money away to the people who are not even legal to be here and sad part is sooner or later america will be people of illegal immigrants.

Just last year

"The number of undocumented immigrant crossings at the southwest border for fiscal year 2022 topped 2.76 million, breaking the previous annual record by more than 1 million, according to Customs and Border Protection data."

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/imm...king-rcna53517

This is just the soutwest border. We are not even talking about the other border of united states . This is just bad! And sadly the democrats are just letting this illegal people come in to buy votes.

"Historically, walls were used to keep invaders out. The early Chinese states built what has become known as the Great Wall to protect themselves against the nomadic groups of the Steppes. Roman Emperor Hadrian constructed a wall across the British isle separating the Roman domain from troublesome northern tribes. More recently, Israel has employed several walls along the West Bank and Gaza, as well as along its northern and southern borders, to protect itself from terrorism, smuggling, illegal immigration and other threats."

Is smarter to build border walls in united states than giving free passes to those who are not even supposed to be here in the first place .
Definitely enforce existing immigration laws which includes keeping illegal invaders out by any means but your nonsense about Trump creating chaos and going crazy and the use of the term “psychophat” (psychopath?) is typical TDS nonsense with nothing to back it up.

Actually, the Great Wall of China had a mixed record; it was breached by nomads and by Genghis Khan. Hadrian's Wall was a flop as was the Antonine Wall and the Limes Germanicus. A wall around a house is different than a wall stretching hundreds or thousands of miles.

You don't see illegals crossing and making it across the border in quantities where walls exist.

We have a wall, had one before the last Administration too. We need to update our immigrations laws so they meet the current needs and provide resolve to outstanding issues that are pending.

So you don’t have fencing around your property nor do you lock your doors. Got it.

LOL They just get in through other ways. This is already going on. You could build quadrillion dollar walls to the sky, and they'll still be escorted in around them.

There's too much capitalistic demand for them to let walls get in the way. Cheap labor, etc. Hello?

The "border walls" push is strictly for the racism vote.

That may or may not be so in the future. Were the East Germans free to leave at any time? What about people currently in Cuba, or North Korea, or Russia, or Ukraine?
