Anybody here actually lived or living at border town before?

You know why illegal immigrants decide to take treacherous route out in the middle desert far away from border towns? Why didn’t they hop over the border to a border town and disappear annd blend inside the city/town?

Let me give you a hint. There are 20 ft solid border wall stretch for miles surround border towns/cities

Oh, I see you're ok with illegals taking Americans jobs by working for less? There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a fair wage and we are obligated as citizens of this country to respect our immigration laws. Guess you don't though? Illegals cost us over $100 billion a year. They are no bargain. Educate yourself on this issue before spouting nonsense!
Because the lines of legal citizens lining up to mow lawns, do day labor and pick fruit are so long. Seriously, what world do Trump supporters live in? The hard truth is, they're not taking jobs away from Americans, they're doing the jobs that overly-entitled, want to get entry level 6 figure income jobs Americans don't WANT to do but need doing.

I swear, if we were in the Mist, Trump Supporters would all be lining up behind the crazy religious woman.

And a wall that is only around those towns and cannot possibly cover the entire border is....ineffectual. It only protects those towns and not the whole country.

Too expensive?

It appears that the anti-wall people are terrible with figures. The one-time cost to build the wall is a small fraction of what it costs the taxpayer every single year to support illegals. Most likely the cost to maintain the wall would also be a small fraction compared to the cost of supporting illegals.

That’s my point.

Border wall works

An incomplete wall doesn't work. And considering who lives in those border towns, I'm not convinced they're there to keep the migrants out but to keep the townies IN.

What do you mean to keep the townies in? You are free to go to Mexico as you wish as long as the Mexican border police is OK with you entering their country. There is no outbound inspection on the US’s side

We should have a national vote...yes or no to building the wall. Those who vote no will be tagged to be taxed to support the illegals.

If roughly 25 million people vote no, 75% of that number would probably be the Biden* supporters and 25% of the never-Trumpers. The illegals cost the taxpayers more than $100 billion every single year. That could be 'more than' $4,000 per year tax per no voter.

What say you anti-wall peeps? Do you want illegals here so badly that you'd fork over more than $4000 per year to make that possible?

There are many American landscapers working for a fair wage but even those jobs are vanishing due to cheap, illegal labor. As for picking fruit we have unlimited visas for legal, foreign farm workers. So you were saying?

Wrong again, in particular the construction industry illegals have flooded those jobs by working for less. We have plenty of American blue-collared workers willing to work for a fair wage. Illegals have crushed those wages.

So you think it's only Trump supporters that oppose illegal immiration? LOL! What crazy religious woman are you speaking of and what has that to do with the topic at hand?

I guess that over $100 billion a year that illegals cost us means nothing to you either? They only contribute $19 billion in taxes. They are a net fiscal burden on our society and couldn't care less about our immigration laws or the lawful citizens of this country. Disgusting that you would support and defend them!
