“Pence accused Trump of turning his back on the Constitution and conservative values and policy, as he formally declared his candidacy in Ankeny, Iowa — the state that leads off the Republican presidential nominating calendar.
"I believe that anyone who puts themselves over the Constitution should never be President of the United States and anyone who asks someone else to put them over the constitution should never be President of the United States again," Pence said of his former two-time running mate. Trump had urged Pence to reject the 2020 presidential election results as he presided over the certification of Electoral College votes on Jan. 6, 2021”.
“Pence said he would support a federal 15-week abortion ban previously proposed by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) if he were elected to the highest office in the nation.”
Of course, in the above case Pence gives the finger to the Tenth Amendment and federalism, and wants to usurp those powers reserved to the States and people therein which Hamilton summarizes as follows:
“The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. The operations of the federal government will be most extensive and important in times of war and danger; those of the State governments, in times of peace and security.”___ Federalist No. 45
.
Seems to me Mike Pence needs to explain where the power has been delegated to the federal government to adopt and enforce a federal 15-week abortion ban.

Oh brother .... isn't this what started the whole travesty of Roe v Wade? The Federal courts and Federal government trampling all over individual states rights?

You are absolutely correct. And now that regulating abortions have been returned to the States and people therein, as the Tenth Amendment commands, Pence is more than willing to instigate another attack on Federalism, as did Roe vs Wade.
But tell me, do you expect anyone in our media who interviews Mike Pence will ask him why he is willing to open this old wound, and is supporting federal legislation which is intended to usurp a power reserved to the States and people therein?
A religious, nutcase, politician talks out of both sides of his mouth and this is surprising?
