Donald Trump should have to pay for all the frivolous lawsuits he brings. He says so many ridiculous things and hasn't been held liable for his truly destructive comments and dangerous statements. Why does he think that others can't say the truth about him? The Orange One just keeps on losing, it may never end.
Unlike democrat appointed judges, he used common sense and non bias in his ruling. Trump wins some, and he loses some, but in the end I know he respects the ruling. No need to blow anything out of proportion.

A rather strange thread title. Ok, this is a Trump judge. Weren't people like the OP claiming that Trump's judicial picks were bootlickers who wouldn't be counted on to rule against him?
the benefit to taking the knee is obvious, run out the clock without the risk of the football being turned over in an error.
so, that begs the question, what was the benefit to trump other than to appease his damaged ego.
i'm remembering the stink trump made when he sued bill maher for joking that trump was the result of his mother getting jiggy with an orangutan ( then quietly dropping the suit a few weeks later ).

i think if CNN counters for attorney fees there's a strong likelihood that they'd prevail. this case was dead the moment it was filed. a US politician has the highest burden of proof in a defamation case.Trump's case basically breaks down as follows:
* CNN said trump told "the big lie" on multiple occaisions.
* the term "the big lie" is usually associated with Hitler and the nazis.
* therefore CNN is claiming that Trump is like Hitler.
one huge problem there..... even if CNN had directly stated that Trump was like Hitler that would be subjective opinion and protected under the first amendment. for Trump to have been successful CNN would have had to make a statement of fact such as "Trump ordered the murder of millions of Jews".
now the question is did Trump file the lawsuit to appease his hurt ego or was there a different motivation.
