I'm usually hearing how whenever Affirmative Action ends with college admissions the numbers for Black-American and Hispanic students show big drops. But I never hear anyone explain why this drop happens? So why do we see a drop in college enrollment when AA is removed for those students? Why don't we see drops with Asian students?

There's 1.2 Billion people in Africa and just about every fixed structure and infrastructure has been built by foreigners in the continent. There are almost no two story home built by natives either, all homes made 2+ stories have been built by foreigners.

This is a trap! We all know the answer(including the OP), don't be fooled in to giving it.

The rates go down because they can't pay - which should be the case.

The answer is to make education more affordable by removing the government (and all of its overhead) from the higher education revenue stream.

Or - go to trade school. If you are proficient at a trade today, you can make a ton of money.

We need to stop thinking there is only one way through higher education to have a life.

---------------

If you want to say its systemic racism - look at who got the government involved in student loans, because that's the point where the prices skyrocketed.

I graduated in 1990 from a mid major school... didn't stay in the dorms... had $5,000 in student loans after 4.5 years from my local credit union.

I used to work at a place that was so far into diversity that some positions had an unspoken "whites need not apply."

I remember talking once to a female black employee about a different company that she'd said she'd really preferred to have worked at. I asked about when/how often she'd applied, and she told me that since they didn't make a point of talking about diversity or AA, she knew they wouldn't hire her, so she'd never bothered to apply.

I wonder if these students are thinking--without AA, they won't let me in, so why bother to apply?

That's a hilarious claim. I can tell you've never been to Africa. I have. I've lived in Africa. I can tell you that the structures, especially houses, were built by locals.
