I suspect this boycott will fail. It’s actually quite easy to work in an industry, make a lot of money, while disliking or not agreeing with the ideology of your superiors. All you have to do is vent, sort of what we do here on this website, and then go collect your money.
In 2020, there was a successful boycott in Colorado, that along with pressure from citizens, forced a judge to change a sentence of trucker, who was involved in a terrible truck accident due to faulty brakes, from 110 years to ten.
Close to nothing. A few dozen truckers or so will end up boycotting NYC, maybe a hundred at the most, and those will easily be replaced by other truckers who don't want to get fired or reprimanded, and after that it won't take long until those truckers who participated in the boycott realize the whole thing is futile, so they'll shrug and get back to doing their normal work.
In the meantime a few stores might get their deliveries a day late or so.
WOW! Didn't know you had connections to all the truck drivers that deliver in in NYC.
Especially since you are from Kansas City, MISSOURI

I find it hard to believe that the Trucking Industry will boycott shipments to and from the largest port on the East Coast, the Port Authority of NY/NJ.

You didn't pay attention to what happened in Canada, did you?

Yes I did and that was Canada against a policy of their government not in support of a candidate who's own behavior has landed him in the situation he finds himself. Before Trump court integrity was never an issue, now if the judge was not appointed by him or part of his party they are automatically called out as corrupt by him....doesn't work that way.

If I’m in the business of shipping product if one trucker says he won’t go to NYC I’ll find another who will.
If I’m the owner of a shipping company and my employee states he will not go to NYC in support of Trump I would give him the ultimatum of go to NYC, get fired, or see the crappiest hauls on our schedule.
