Did this all start with the McGovern Rules for Democratic Party conventions? Each delegation had to resemble the demographic makeup of the area. It was useful for putting a stop to party heads picking the candidates.

Hiring to run a business, not so much. I see it in the news business. Whether it was budget constraints that made them get rid of the old white men who knew how news should work or hiring more minorities. They skipped a step. The one that truly informs.

Now all the leadership of news organizations and young employees think hearing from all sides means equivalence. And the amount of revenue means competence. SMH.

I’m all for penance . The years of Blacks sitting on the back of the bus are over. A teacher once asked us some race cars can drive 65 mph and some must drive 50 mph on the track. Suddenly all cars can drive 65. Will those that were compelled to drive 50 ever get as many laps as the ones driving 65mph?
We need a better way to fix this. It includes much better experience as well as education.

All of the Imprimis reads are excellent, but this one takes it up a notch. If it makes liberal/progressive heads explode to read something like this, then it means the author is right on target. They tend to be heavily triggered by facts and common sense.

Education is the answer and always been. Democrats need to stop with the social economic slavery created by government hand outs and minorities need to start stepping up. I've said this many times, my ancestors helped eliminate slavery, some died for it, now it's time for democrats to stop with the racist bull**** start empowering minorities to get an education.

There are enough grants and loans out there nobody should go without a 2 year degree or a certificate in something to get them going.

Instead all we hear is you can't succeed due to racism, here's your check, here's you section 8 housing, only we will listen and help, "they" are trying to put you back in chains.. now vote for us only we can help.

It's a hard truth to swallow but it is the truth. Blacks and minorities have been used and played as suckers for votes. Think of it this way, who really believes a state is going to pay hundreds of billions to a race who ancestors were salves hundreds of year ago? If that is the case what about all the other races that were enslaved at the same time? What about women in the old west who were treated like garbage and made to work as whores? Sad that it happened but blacks are far from the only ones who were slaves.

Blacks will NEVER break the cycle until they tell Democrats to go screw themselves.

Under the law, yes - We are all created equally.

But that doesn't mean we are all created with the same gifts and burdens.
Some are smart; some can barely tie their shoes.
Some are physically superior; some can't run a 20-minute mile.
That’s very true, but we don’t treat each other equally. The law doesn’t treat everyone equally. Opportunities are not offered to all equally, even if have the talents or knowledge.

Equality sounds great on paper, but it’s not a reality. Expectations as well as end results vary. Some wealthy high end kid goes to college and turns out terrible, getting into trouble etc.and vice versa, the underdog wins the fight sometimes .

It will never change, even the Bible addresses it.

She. Civiization in America, at least for the time being, includes a vast middle class for which I've worked hard to become part of.

The pressure to eliminate the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) requirement for law school admissions is growing, because it too has a disparate impact. As a single mother told an ABA panel, “I would hate to give up on my dream of becoming a lawyer just due to not being able to successfully handle this test.” Note the assumption: the problem always lies with the test, never with the test taker. The LSAT requirement will almost certainly be axed.
These admission test standards and requirements should be based on the needs of the profession not the needs of the applicants. When it comes to STEM fields in particular, watering down standards for ideological reasons can only lead to disaster. But it's all for a Greater Good I guess.
