This week the Congress passed HR 3221 otherwise known as the American Housing Rescue and Foreclosure Act and in doing so put one of the last nails in the coffin of the American Dream.
The addition of $800 billion to the already staggering Federal Deficit, saddles every American household with more than $450,000 of debt. A debt that must be serviced with our tax dollars.
The result of this rescue bill will be to socialize the debt of the housing fiasco and put the responsibility of paying for it squarely on backs the taxpayers.
In doing so, they have set the stage for tax increases and increased inflation to a degree that few can even imagine.
The resulting inflation will make leaving the workforce a virtual impossibility. We have all been sold into a life of debt slavery. Within a few years, many people already retired will find it impossible to make ends meet, and have to return to work. By pushing the U.S into socialism the Government is taking away any reward for hard work, saving, and investing, and in so doing ensuring our downward spiral.
To add insult to injury, they also included a provision in the bill to take away another of your rights by requiring credit card companies to report every transaction we make to the IRS. . What part of ‘secure in their homes, papers, and possessions’ didn’t the authors of this measure understand? And what has this got to do with housing anyway?

One day in the future people will wake up and realize what has happened, too bad it will be too late.

Stupid sheeple actually believe that this act will shore up property values.

The net pain will actually be greater. Like credit card debt, however, we can amortize the greater pain. Kind of like slowly pulling a band-aid off rather than just ripping it off.

It would have to come from within. That would include members of the military beginning to declare mutiny at some point of no return. Unfortunately, if the government financially enriches the military complex in exchange for their uncompromising devotion and loyalty (perhaps by providing them with a rationed portion of confiscated gold?), then all bets are off.

Look on the bright side, you can go get a list of all the homes this bill is supposed to help and you can stop by and sleep over night at each one while you travel. I mean, we have a vested interest in them now right? Hold on a sec, I am going to look up some of the homes in my area to see which ones have pools and maybe go for a swim.

Now there's the spirit, find a way to make it work for you.
