Like i said in another thread, you've gotta wonder how much more of this stupidity the citizens of this state will take before we all go nuts. It's just one stupid Republican proposal after another since Napolitano left. This link just shows how the rest of the nation must think we've all gone mad in the Copper State. Worse, this dimwit is our majority leader.

Yea, well of course they're all against "big government."

Amazing stuff. And yea, he's a Mesa Mormon member (surprise!). And they wonder why people are so damn suspicious and resentful of the LDS's power in this state.

I swear, the more I see of what the modern-day Republican Party is trying to do in states where they hold a majority in government, the more I'm becoming convinced that they are actually a threat to civilization itself.

Arizona is replacing Alabama as the most backwards state in the union.

What is next on their agenda, secession?

Oh, no. That would be too simple. They've got to revolute to "save" Amurica.

Let me give you my version of it as a conservative. If this was proposed in my state I would be vehemetly against it. Generally speaking, it never does any good to micromanage laws and legislate morality. However, at least from my personal viewpoint, as a conservative It angers me much more so when things like this are enforced on a federal level. There is a huge difference. This is a local matter. Without knowing Arizona's Constitution at all really this shouldn't even be a state issue, but a city, municipality, etc. issue. When it comes to issues like these, if someone(s) go off the deep end and makes enough silly **** laws that you deem ridiculous, it does become feasible to leave(to another city, or state) if you believe in it that badly. However, it's the love affair with enforcing all these opprosive nickel and dime laws and regualtions on a federal level I think that gets a true, pricncipaled conservative steamed.

I don't see that one passing and I'm Conservative.
Live and let live.
See, Progressive "I know best for you", is in both houses of the Status Quo.

He must represent his constituents views, if the majority in his district elected him.

Looks like Michigan was not to your approval, either.
