Can you give us a URL?

According to Mr. Perot, the UK is doing pretty well with health care costs.

The United States, on the other hand, spends as much on our military as the GDP of Australia. UHI would have been quite attainable had we not blundered into Iraq.

First..you a little late.. this is old..this thread anyway.

And.. if you bothered to read my other posts you'd have the update.. but Ill give it to you here.

No.. I did not leave the tax payers holding the ball.. I sold my home, albeit short.. but in the end the mortgage company got their money back because remember, those payments int he beggining were mostly interest.. so they made out okay.. probably broke about even. As for me, I lost a ton of money on my house.. down payment, repairs..etc. BUT.. I got out of it the most responsible honorable way possible... Not a DIME went to me or my house from any tax pool .. which, bTW I happend to contributed to also.. or do you think I don't pay taxes just like you???

Nope..the house wasn't stripped.. I was really just going off on an angry tangent out of frustration..in the end I couldn't really have stripped the hosue of much.. because I am a sentimental person and I would have felt like I "hurt" the house I actually cared about. Although there are some things I would have taken with me and replaced with an old piece of junkyard crap if the house never did sell.. so there would have been stuff in it.. just not the new stuff that I paid for.. not the bank!! BUt , all ended well as it didn't come to that... the new owners got a great deal and nice house that my neighbors have kept in touch and said that they are happy.. and I"m happy for them. They loved the house (what's not to love.. it sold quickly because it was asking the right price and was in great shape!)

As for health insurance.. read the entire thread and all my posts... and read up on UHI.. it's not about me not paying anything for healthcare.. as a UHI is NOT FREE HEALTHCARE Something a lot of you can't comprehend... or you just don't want to because it takes too much energy to actually THINK!! and easier to come to your bitter conclusions...

Don't choke on that bitter pill there

OH.. and btw.. I'm now renting a 4 Bedroom 2 1/2 bath farmhouse that sits on 168 acres (2 is dedicated to the house) in a new state.. and my health insurance cost NOW EXCEES my monthly rent here !!!

Once teh short sale was closed my credit score went up 30 points. ... it's still in the toilet.. but not as poorly as it would have been with a foreclosure and not having done the best right thing I could do...

As far as primary and secondary schools, the reasons why schools cost so much is because of adminstration and operating cost, not on the actual academic cost !!
