Just want to know what people think about this subject. Why are you for it and against it. Please elaborate, thanks.

Ok. Why? Can you please tell me why you are against it. Have you considered people with AIDS and countless of other diseases that might benefit from this "drug"?

totally for it! it is sad that so many upstanding citizens are in our jails when our jails are already overcrowded. we could make room for real criminals, and police could focus on real crime. why is smoking marijuana not a real crime IMO? because its negative effects are less than those of alcohol- not totally harmless, of course, but harmless enough to where it should be up to each citizen to decide if they want to use it. i choose not to use it, but that is my choice.

I really don't have any stats, but I assume there are more alcohol related deaths than weed. So why is it that alcohol is legal and not marijuana? I simply can't understand it. All marijuana does is gives you the munchies and gets you sleepy. I never heard of someone robbing a bank, raping, or going crazy simply because thay smoked a phat bowl.

Very much against it for Biblical reasons. I don't think anything good can come from it. I have seen the damage it has done to members of my family.

Those that are for it should state if they have used it or not, as mariatherese has done. It does make a difference in your position. Have you noljos?

Yes, I do smoke. Speaking from personal experience I don't see the big deal. If marijuana was legalized tomorrow would current non-smokers run to the local store in droves and buy it just because it is available? Why is it that people are against it? If alcohol is legal and so much damage has come out of that, why aren't people trying to make it ilegal? Forget alcohol, lets talk about the damaging effects cigarettes have vs marijuana. " I Love North Carolina" said she is againts it for biblical reasons. What exactly are those reasons?
