And I bet Congress responded by authorizing 53,000 additional visas.

In November, about 500,000 Americans lost their jobs and the response by Congress was to approve 550,000 additional visas for FY2009

We haven't been truly capitalist since the 19th century.

Please people, get back on the topic of the OP or just don't post. It's really not that hard to be nice to each other is it? Just make your point and defend it reasonably while being courteous and polite. It will get you a lot farther than insults ever will.

In other words, Reaganomics coming to fruition. We saw a glimpse of it in 1989, and now living it.

68,000 jobs lost today...pretty sobering if you think about it.

God I hope we can be out of here soon BEFORE it gets worse.

People who believe economy should be allowed to correct itself, should be the last ones to worry about sobering news.

Wait, I thought Obama was going to turn everything around, and make us have streets filled with Gold and rivers that flowed wine.

This country is screwed. Thanks Obama voters.

Reaganomics is fundamental to the credit system you speak of. Prove me wrong.

I would agree with you that throwing money around is not the answer. It has been done, mindlessly for way too long. Now is the time to devise ways to put money where it promises greater and sustainable returns as opposed to mindless tax cuts that have proven to be failures, every time.
