This country is screwed. Thanks Obama voters.
So these problems were created in the last 5 business days? Or could be solved in those days?

I've said it before and will say it again: It was never Obama supporters who started spouting this Messiah nonsense. It was his opponents because it was the only trash that would stick.

Anyone in this country, including Obama himself, has ALWAYS been aware of the fact that there's hard work to be done.

Actually it appears there won't be much work at all the way things are going...at least not work that pays.

Think about how these now unemployed people are going to be on benefits...and to no longer spend...and that will mean other businesses will have to cut back.....and they will eventually have to let some people go...

I do wish people would stop looking to the government for the solution.

Well, we're all ears to here about how the private sector is going to inject enough liquidity into the market in order to spark a recovery.

So you really think the jobs lost today would not have been lost had McCain won?

Oh, God no, McCain would have suspended his presidency so that he could concentrate on the financial crisis, 5 days into his administration.

Default Cat: the best tractors made

The problem with caterpillar is that their manufacturing standards of quality are very high. while other tractor companies try to compete with cat, they cannot. cat builds tractors to last 50 years. it's their own fault by making quality. they should make junk that falls apart so at least parts sales would've seen them thru tough times. while in alaska, the john deere, huber road graders, and tcb's couldn't run or keep going like a cat, it is without a doubt the best tractors made.

By liquidity you mean money...where is the gov. getting money from???

Is it borrowing it?

So to save us from too much debt the fedgov. is borrowing money.

Do you see a problem with this?
