If capitalism means that my honest 40-hour work week pays a "living wage" while someone else's questionably honest workweek pays millions yearly, then give me socialism. Am I being sarcastic? yes and no.
And if I hear someone say the fairness doctrine will "silence" conservatives one more time ... good god. Since when did an attempt at a 50/50 split in airtime equal the ideas of "silence" and "destroying free speech" ? I mean, come on. Just be up front and flat out say you think a 50/50 split is wrong and un-American. Don't use hyperbole about "the evil fascists are trying to take away our free speech".

Don't you have to give people a radio station first and then find out if it's marketable?
I drove from 1000 miles through the Midwest and I didn't find 1 liberal radio station.
But I found about 10000 republican radio stations.
Sounds to me like a monopoly.
