what do you think the Confederate Flag Represents?
It represents an agrarian, oligarchal, class-ridden, slave-dependent society; one which attempted to secede from the United States, and fought a protracted war in order to accomplish this.
To me, it represents a time when slaves were commonplace & accepted. It represents a small-minded time to me....really, it just represents a racist period of life. Sorry, can't really express what it means to me, I just know how I feel when I see it.
Rebellion against a government when the people no longer consent to be governed by said government. Just like during the American Revolution when we seceded from Great Britain. It's unfortunate the South held onto slavery but there was far more at stake than slavery.
I agree,Lincoln was a traitor to the Constitution.
