I hope they're protesting a long time because they royaly screwed up our country and it's going to take a long time to fix.
please, please explain how only the republicans screwed up this country. you run your mouth a lot, but not much info actually comes out.
So please, explain to all of us how the republicans ALONE, screwed up this country.

p.s. These demonstrations are about gov't spending on things it has no business in, like GM and AIG. Not sure how that is partisan.

Well, it started back in August of 2008, and after the TARP bailout and the first auto bailout. The first protest was in one of the most left-wing cities in the nation - Seattle, Washington. And it really spread like wildfire when Obama spent upwards of $2 trillion through Chinese loans his first two months in office.

Rather amazing how fast this movement came out of practically no where. Rather ironic that Liberals are usually the ones who stereotypically protest, but it looks like the Moderates/Conservatives/Libertarians can organize a lot more quickly and with more coordination.

I may not be able to attend any of these events later this month, but I will certainly be watching the results. If this movement gains even more momentum,we could even see an entirely new political party form. And a three party system in the US would be most excellent.

And the best part of it all? The Democrats feel threatened by this movement, and will fight to discredit it tooth and nail . I honestly can't wait to hear the Liberals/Democrats whine about this movement..

What comes out of you other than misqouting just about everylink posted. What do you want me to explain?? How our economic system is once again screwed up due to believing the republican less regulation mantra? What else that we are bankrupt because we were sold a lie that reducing taxes increases gov. revenue.

Are you really to blind to see thatwe are in this mess because all of us bought into the the sale of supply side economics.

I figure it's appropriate to give a thumbs up to the national Tea Party protest against ridiculous government spending at the hand of Barack and Pelosi.

Democrats see this as some kind of threat to their desired Socialism.

Chill out liberals.

Get a job, pay your bills and stop asking everyone to give you a free house.

If this protest is an indication of things to come .... America might come out alright after all.

I don't know if you really live in Munich or not. I've been there and loved it. The Hofbrauhaus is awesome. He, he.

But, even Germany is not stupid enough to agree with ultra spending and bailouts.

Um, I think that tea is an attempt at symbolism.

I would go even if I had to bring my own beer.

Americans are ticked off at irresponsible government.
