What about what the terrorist have done to Daniel Pearl...what they have done to John McCain and other POW...

What about all the army members who are blown up in pieces because they are fooled by homocide bombers....etc....OMG do we have to feel sorry for the terrorists, do we have to feel sorry if we get information of the pirate who with a AKA 47 kidnapped the captain and who can give us a lot of important info....think about how much compassion they have for Americans when they capture them!

What do the actions of anyone else have to do with the standards we set for ourselves?

And since you choose to bring up McCain you're also aware he's called what we've done torture, right?

Also keep in mind that we are fighting a completely ruthless enemy that has no rules, no morals to restrain them, and who fight from the shadows or from behind women's skirts...

These Islamic terrorists are dedicated to obtaining a nuke or biological weapons- and once they get them - the only question is 'when' they will use them on population centers, not if...

The day that that happens - your life as you know it goes out the window - possibly for the rest of your life. Martial law would probably be declared in the US in the event of a WMD attack on a major city... Liberties would be vastly restricted... Dead could potentially be in the hundreds of thousands from even the smallest of nukes, and from something like SmallPox - in the tens of MILLIONS...

Will you still have concern for the harshness of 'interrogation tactics' once this scenario plays out in real life???

The chances of it happening are far far far greater than most care to admit to themselves.

Great post, it is all very true, and you're right most people would just prefer think that our enemy has decency and morals like us. But that is Islam and Jihad for you.

I would recommend you keep an eye out for Ted Turner and his friends also.

Fundi Christians: The Rupture is coming and we're gonna help.

Islam: We want to be with Allah as soon as possible.

Atheists: There's too many people on this planet - and the really bad ones are American because they're causing Global Warming and I happen own coastal property.

As far as I know it was called murder. It's sad to see a good man's unfortunate death used by a bunch of unprincipled enemies of their country to try to build lame childish justifications for the criminals they adore.
