They're like Libertarians with a few differences. They believe that the US was founded as a haven for Christians and as a result, the government should cater to Christianity. They advocate displaying the Ten Commandments on government buildings. The believe the Confederacy was on the "right side". They are opposed to anything homosexual, including civil unions.

They're economic views are almost the same as Libertarians.

The RW fringe of the GOP could split off and become the "Christian Party".

Then the rest of us could actually get to work at providing a true alternative to the Democrats.

And, yes, I am a Republican but I have serious doubts about my party due to the evalengicals.
