he sounds like one of those southern Gov., mayors, congressman, etc from the 60's. my constituents will not accept going to school with black folk!
instead of being a leader, and tryin to get people to promote equality he justifies these discriminatory ideas. i think people in power do this because they personally believe it. they speak about their constituents because if he said "i beleive this" he would be taken to task. but if hes speculating about the people in his district, then its not really about him.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the title of the thread. Every time I even hear his name I think about the Chris Rock joke and I crack up. Hard to take him seriously when I'm doubled over laughing at him
I can't even explain this one, pathetic is all i could say.
The town where i grew up, we had our first black mayor. Once we found out that he went to Paris with his mistress on our dime, we voted his azz out then the state of new jersey threw him in jail for corruption.
