Two crashes in 30 years, in an airport used by 3 planes a day... yes, thats numerous.. Are you now justifying the spending because not enough people have died?
I believe there is only one privately owned commercial airport in the US. The rest are all subsidized by the government. I do not see that as waste or corruption.
