Just how socialism works ya know!
Coming from a Socialist family, I know a hell of a lot more about it than you do which is why I have to laugh every time you people whine about socialism. (My grandfather's business partner.)

Obama wants to take from the haves and give to the have nots. Since his mom was a welfare case he has always felt sorry for other welfare cases and wants to be a community organzier all his life, helping others with others money.
I fail to understand why the good Christians of this country are so hostile towards the less fortunate. Jesus would have been a Socialist.

But there is a big difference. George and his wife were moving on up to a deluxe apartment because they had worked hard and earned their way up the ladder. This headline seems more like an episode of "Chappelle's Show" than real life. I'm rich *****! Honk, honk.

I'm not about to blame this on Obama (as many posters already have), but it is ridiculous.

The mentality is the same, however.

That's why it's more like Good Times. You know - government housing. Check on that "luxury condo" in two years and see what kind of condition its in. You won't be able to tell the difference between that building and Cabrini-Green in Chicago.

I'm sorry but The Jeffersons tune is a better fit to the story. Again, I'm not talking about the show itself, just the song.

Well, maybe it's a hybrid of some sort between Good Times and The Jeffersons. It sure ain't The Cosby Show, no matter how you look at it.

Oh....they're absolutely "movin' on up." The question is - why does everyone else have to pay for it?

I'm for limited assistance (I'm not one of the extreme RW'ers who supports no social services), but luxury condos? ***Bashing head against wall***

Read the article I linked. It explains more than the OP.
