It's deliberate positioning. First Shep Smith, now O'Reilly. Faux knows they're on a dead-end course and they're trying to weasel themselves out of it into the land of the living.
If they cant rework hardliners like Hannity, by time next year he'll be a forgotten old bully, an embarrassing reminder of the hated Bush era, an anachronistic embarrassment.

I used to be a avid Fox watcher. It had NEWS. Now it is becoming a Obama hate fest. I turn it on to see news and i just hear the ame old B/s about Obama, it has taken over nearly every news segment. My stomach goes over when you hear the "seedy" Rove speak or the reformed alcoholic Beck or the Hateful "Christian" Hannity bullying his Guests.
I know many who no longer watch Fox so i am very dubious about their supposed great viewing figures.
Yeah...many are not watching....look at the ratings.....Fox CRUSHES their nearest competition no matter how you look at it. We can either get a network that leans (sometimes a big lean) towards Republicans OR we can watch and read the other 800,0000 media outlets that shill for and worship Obama....in some cases they even bow to him (Brian Williams)....is this guy the "King" of the United States?? Is he the "Savior"?? Is the the "Ruler"?? Come on...bash away on Fox if you must but please acknowledge the liberal media had a big part in getting this minor leaguer elected. Now he has to grow up and realize he is in the "Big Leagues". He has to realize he is no longer working in the corruption capital of this country!!! He is going to be criticized but he really has nothing to worry about because ABC will camp out in the White House and give him an open forum to the American people so he can tell everyone what a great job he is doing and cry about the one media outlet that has the GALL to actually question or criticize him!!!!
Ratings are figures. Figures can be manipulated. I do not believe Fox pulls in theses numbers, unless it's just because Fox is now the Republican News Chanel and gets the Republican viewers. Who else would want to see almost 24 hour Republican party worship and relentless Obama basing?
Although Obama doesn't like Fox News and is scared to be interviewt on that channel like all his associates are...he can't stop mentioning Fox News and it is great for the ratings!
I think Obama is dreaming about Fox News and maybe is hoping that one day he will be the owner of Fox News.
Evidently you don't follow Obama well or just receive the little clips off of Fox... I don't expect conservatives to. I will say this, Obama has a really comical side to him, excellent sense of humor. Yes, and Obama brings up Fox News a lot but a lot of times to be the receiving end of jokes. You know, digs at the network...
Obama has control over 800,000 of media outlets (print/television) and he is fixated with the ONE news agency that actually will DARE to criticize him!!! Lord Obama is not the "RULER" of this country yet. I know he would like to be the "annointed one" and all that. There was a time when the media had journalistic "integrity" and didn't believe everything they were told. Now they "BOW" to him (literally in Brian Williams' case)

Comical is correct...his budget, national health care plan, stimulus etc, without any idea on how we would pay the BILLIONS to pay for it is comical......
The health care in the usa that lets Down millions of Americans is far from comical. Obama is getting on with the job of finding solutions. Fox is getting on with the job of Obama bashing on every thing Obama says or does....It borders on Pathetic.
