She should have stayed on the morning shows. She wants to ask silly questions instead of important ones.

3. Pulling a Palin 38 up, 1 down

Default A conservative's take on Sarah Palin (Peggy Noonan)

Now, I'm not a Palin hater. She's probably a decent person. But I like this Peggy Noonan article on her, and makes some good arguments against the talk radio crowd's myths about her.

A Farewell to Harms - WSJ.com

I REALLY like this quote, and so true.

Quote:
"The era we face, that is soon upon us, will require a great deal from our leaders. They had better be sturdy. They will have to be gifted. There will be many who cannot, and should not, make the cut. Now is the time to look for those who can. And so the Republican party should get serious, as serious as the age, because that is what a grown-up, responsible party—a party that deserves to lead—would do."

The republicans had their chance and blew it. It is time to give America a fresh start. One that is not tied to special interests and lobbyists.

She'll be permanently consigned to RINO status now, since the Archbishops of the Far Right are exommunicating nearly everyone who slightly deviates these days.

Strike the froth and bonbon remarks and it's the best critique of Palin one is likely to read.

I love Sarah Palin and feel she's got great principles and a lot of potential. However, she still has yet to convince me she's ready for a serious federal office.
