For some reason, people with no training in economics whatsoever feel perfectly justified in their "opinions" on the economy.
Don't worry, even though you have no applicable experience, you can still voice your opinion here.

Nobody in their right mind expects Obama or Congress to reverse the economy in a mere few months. It took us years to get here. It will take years to recover.

Congress has been in control for 2 1/2 years, so what the hell have they been doing?

LIBERALS CONTROL THE WH AND TOTALLY CONTROL CONGRESS and they cannot seem to get anything right at all.

Your Presidents stimulus money was to create millions of new jobs, so far he is down 6 million jobs and spent all the money on pork that did not create a single job.

Just for your info, we were doing just fine economically before your libs took control in 2007 and now look, team up with the spend it all nut and we are falling apart.

He has had enough time and spent enough money to have at least stayed even or turned the corner, but no, he has went down hill and fast.

The biggest mistake in American History of electing the village idiot to control our country.

What happened to the Obama quote that he would run the country like he does his household budget and only spend what money there is to spend?

Guess that was just another lie of Obamas?

He has triple the debt in 5 months and you think that is ok? Especially since it has not worked and he still is spending?

He is bringing America to its knees with his screw ups.

I don't have an opinion on how best to run the nation's economy because I have no experience in running a nation's economy. If you have such experience, more power to you.

What has Congress been doing? Ever heard of a veto? How about a filibuster?

Seriously: expanding your news sources beyond FOX would help you tremendously.

You watch Fox yourself because of course you know they are the NEWS.

If they are so bad then why do they beat all your channels 4 to 1 in the ratings?

Face it, the loons now own the entire country and have total control, congress now for 2 1/2 years and promised us change then and of course no delivery, Obama promised us changed and no delivery.

Liberals, destroyers of America. Keep your eye on them as they keep on working on how to find ways to hurt America.

No he did not, what planet were you living on. He was arguing for a massive spending hike in the military as well as far more addition tax cuts. The only thing he wanted to stop were ear marks medicare, social security, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and everyone knew the latter four were not viable in the timespan he gave.

If you remember correctly when their plans were reviewed by economists. It was the general idea that McCain's plan would increase the national debt by 4.2 trillion over the next ten years and Obama's would increase it 3.3 trillion or their abouts.

Obama has already quadrupled the national debt in 5 months so your theory of course was ruined by the Spender in Chief.

The biggest mistake in American history was made electing this moron.

McCain would have done so much better then this fool. Even though I was not a big McCain fan I now know he was the WISER choice of the two.

Obama has shown America he is not ready for anything prime time. He needs to go back to being a crappy lawyer for Acorn and start all over again.

Not so the bush tax cuts would have alone added 443 Billion by 2013 as projected in summer of 2008, in addition to the additional tax cuts McCain promised that would have pushed it up even more. Not to mention a decline economy would have produced even more reduced revenues, which would likely increase short falls especially with the twice declining tax base (one from the economy one from tax cuts, even from a supply side perspective as post Bush it was clear we were on the low end of the Laffer curve). Finally McCain would not be able cut any spending, within reason, except earmarks as he lacked the power to do so.

That coupled with his military spending would have made, his deficits worse then Obama's as was predicted with the 3.3 vs 4.2 numbers issued during the campaign.
