Received wisdom of the right:
-we're not racists, we just don't like black people, or those brown skinned criminals.
-we have nothing against muslims, even though they are a bunch of terrorist scum.
-Democrats always tell lies.
-Republicans always tell the truth, all the the time.
-criticism of the right is unjust (maybe even persecution)
-no matter what anyone says, the right is always right; everybody else is wrong. We worship our righteousness.
-do you want to be exactly like us, or is there something wrong with you?
-god is always on our side ONLY. And don't anyone dare forget that!

The right is not hypocritical. Being sanction by god, it's impossible for them to make mistakes.
