No one has ever said it before because we have never had a president like this before. Marxist, communist, socialist, racists and bigots were the kind of people hussein had as friends and looked up to as his mentors.

1900 maybe, 2009 rubbish.

Its in many black's interest to keep this nonsense going. They will pull it out and use it when it suits their purpose. People get rejected, disrespected and disagreed with all the time. Its only blacks who claim that it must be because of their race. Are blacks really that arrogant or naive as to think that it can never be them personally who are being rejected, disrespected or disagreed with? I suspect not. I suspect they are simply using the 'race card' to suit their purpose.

Blacks have been trained to see themselves as a victim. It is has been pounded in their heads by the left and by people like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Reverand Wrights. They all get a lot of milage and money out of the "victimhood game".

I cannot stomach hussein obama but I would support Bill Cosby or someone like him anytime!

I think you have a firm grasp on this situation. Its called 'Community Organizing' right out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals:

- Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty

- Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it

- Keep the pressure on. Never let up

- Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize

The community organizer does not want harmony. He does not want people to get a long. He does not want people to be comfortable. The goal of the Community Organizer is to agitate, to make people uncomfortable even those who have no reason to be uncomfortable.

Barack Obama is a community organizer. Henry Gates is a community organizer. The last thing these people want is for folks to start getting along. They would lose everything they have worked so hard for. That's why their rhetoric is becoming more and more shrill.

Their examples of things like racism used to be justified. Their examples are becoming less and less so. Except for some extremist racism has largely been eliminated. These community organizers are becoming very very worried about it.

At one point Colin Powell enjoyed the highest approval rankings of any political figure in Washington (last I checked, Colin Powell is blacker than Obama, technically).

Imagine, if you will, that Colin Powell ran for President, and won.

Do you think if a generally conservative man like Powell ran for and won the presidency, he would be getting the same flack from the same people? REALLY?

Obviously, SOME people are going to have a problem with him just because he's black. I mean, hell, SOME people would have a problem with a woman president, a Jewish president, a Catholic president, a gay president, a single president, etc. etc. etc.....

But, at some point, to assert that Obama isn't doing anything wrong, or to assert that he has done nothing wrong in the present or past to justify criticism... is... well, poor play of the race card.

FACT is, Obama is more than just a "black man." Fact is he is associated with people and ideas that put off a lot of people who don't run in the very left wing circles. His background isn't exactly squeaky clean, either!

But, hey, if you want to continue to believe that he is disliked for being black, then whatever helps you get through the day. Just understand that outside a discrete group of people that you may associate with, it doesn't fly in the real world, and does not operate as a valid explanation.

As a left-centrist thinking person myself, much of my dislike of him does have a race based tint to it.... but it's not because of the fact he is black in and of itself... instead, it's because I think he has some deep seeded personal issues with race and identity that even in his old age he has not been able to fully work out, and has a bit of "hate whitey" in him due to his time spent trying to gain acceptance by blacks, which causes severe inner conflict and self loathing because of his background. I personally was turned off by his ridiculous joke of a church, his idiotic and "boneheaded" comments that derogatize working class white people, his pandering to black audiences with fake southern vernacular one day, and crisp WASP dialect the next when speaking to whites....now, his siding with the Harvard race pimp without knowing the facts...the list goes on and on.

Imagine a black person having a problem with a white president that was or is a member of the Conservative Citizens Council.... the dislike a black person may have for that president would obviously be for race-related reasons, but not because the president is white.

The only thing that keeps me from writing him off as I did Bush is that I have trust in some of the behind the scenes people to steer him in a direction and for policies that I support. Maybe next time they can give us a black man to vote for without all the personal racial baggage.

From my point of view Mr. Obama is about as far left as Maggie Thatcher or D. Eisenhower. I am a leftist economically and his policies are designed to keep the monopolists in business and as far as I am concerned that is just another example of crony capitalism and completely wrong headed. We really should have let the gamblers break the casino.

So what he has Black ancestors? I have Viking ancestors and they did not try to run the world. Like crony bankers they just settled for looting it.

Race was his shield. If you didn't agree with him or said anything against him, you were a racist.

Now, as you said he is all about being the Black President and not just an American man who is President.

Before he ran I never really heard race comments unless Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson showed up to accuse someone of being a racist.

Now that is all you hear on TV. Everything has to be avoided or you will be considered a racist.

I the hospital I worked at in Ohio, there was a Norman Rockwell picture of a Pharmacy scene in the Pharmacy at the hopsital. In the picture there was 2 pharmacists. One was a white man and he was sitting at the desk working. The other was a black woman and she was filling RX's. We had a Black RPh sue the hospital to get them to take down the Norman Rockwell because it was a racist picture.

She won because the Hospital was afraid to be labeled a racist Hospital. BTW, this was a girl who had gotten a full ride in college because she was black. She was the laziest staff there and would come in 45 minutes late with her breakfast tray to eat at her station everyday and no one said a word to her. They knew she would sue for discriminination if they tried it.

You know everyone of us have had relatives that have suffered. Died in wars, killed by Hitler, and yes, slaves. But no other race has been handed more programs and money then the Black people of this country.

Isn't it time we all be held responsible for ourselves and support ourselves and just call ourselves Americans?

OK let the attacks begin.......

Well damn there's another black thing I missed out on when was this training held? I must have been at band camp or something - no wonder I never get updates on what all the other black people are doing and thinking. If it wasn't for CD I probably wouldn't have even known I was black.

Wasn’t it this past January where your children were adorned with Barack Obama buttons, tees and Christmas daydreams of an almost Utopian future?
This line was just a little too precious for me...adorned with Christmas daydreams
