Like health insurance executives??? You should see their "reasonable " fees!!!

But you want doctors to be highly skilled but not paid much....what's wrong with THAT picture???

And then point out all the countries that want to switch to our system of Health Insurance To Make The Wealthy Wealthier.
NHS....failing.

Canadian system....60% of people have private health insurance and it is failing its purpose(to provide healthcare,if there are no beds to be had or you must wait for care, that is a failure)

French system....requires most people to have supplemental insurance.

Perhaps YOU could point out a single payer system that is not failing?

What most nations do is this...tax certain people to pay for others to have a level of care and then the same people being taxed already go out and buy supplemental insurance so they can actually get what they want.

No thanks. Sounds like a good stunt from your heroes among the Obama/Bush team.
I have NO heroes on the Bush team and YOUR righty Rules state YOU can't mention Bush.

Single payer does not take away your insurance(another lie by the right), nor will it be forced on anyone(the lies pile up)....if you can, prove that it does(and why would it???)

Guess I'll be off to Thailand in the event of necessary heart surgery. Get great care and a resort vacation rolled into one.

I didn't say they should go to jail if they make a mistake. They should go to jail if they when they allow people with diabetes to progress to the point that they need to have a leg amputated just so they can get a bigger fee.

The greedy doctor thinks, who cares if that old lady has only one leg, she now qualifies for a scooter. I'll wave to her as I drive by on my Harley.

I didn't say they should not be paid much. I said they should get paid a reasonable fee and not get rich off of sick people.

As for the fat cat insurance executives, they will all be out of work soon enough. I bet they will be happy to have health care provided by our government then.

You miss the point...IF a UHC system works so well....why do so many people under such systems go out and buy supplemental insurance???

And please post an example of what you consider a workable UHC system so we can debate it's merits.

And that is why we need to ration health care! We do not have the resources to meet the unlimited demand. We have to limit that demand or we can't help the people who should get the treatment.
