John McCain has lived his entire life on government run health care and he is against it...lol

The man was born in a military hospital to now having health care as a Senator.

That is an incredibly stupid thing to say. So, what, every person who doesn't have adequate health insurance - or any at all - should go get a government job? is that your answer? please.

Why is it so difficult for some people to understand that with a UHC every Senator, Congressman, President Govt. Worker and every Citizen will have and be able to use the Health Service. If the Senator also wants to get Private healthcare or any job or any Citizen also wants to provide or get Private Healthcare they can and no one will stop them. This happens in the UK. The politicians get Private Health Cover as part of their job...no one cares or complains about it, this is their choice and and part of their pay package. This is the "Freedom" that Americans hold so dearly, the right to choose and the right of EVERY citizen to be able to recieve Health Care. Both co-existing side by side in a perfect union for the benefit of ALL.

As the great Senator from the State of Arizona pointed out to his constituents, there will be NO UHC program in the United States. There will be no "public option" either.

There WILL BE reforms that will not only make insurance more accessible but also less expensive.

But, the Senator pointed out, correctly, we do not need the Government running / controlling health care in the United States.

We shall see what we shall see.
I'm glad the GREAT senator has made his mind up as to what is going to happen when the President and Congress doesn't even know yet.
Absolute Piffle!

Contrary to your post - its not up to the President what gets through the Congress.

And, members of Congress have pretty much agreed that there will be no public option -

And now, due to the death of Kennedy, the Democrats have a problem. They don't have the safety of numbers that they once did to stop the other side.

There will be no public option. There will be no UHC (and it was never proposed).

So you think the insurance companies will lower the cost on their own???

You think they will honestly provide the money for the care people pay for?

They don't and why should they...there's no law that says they have to....but I'm sure with your reasoning the insurance companies will make their own laws, stop their own out-of-control bloated wages , and start doing the right thing by Americans....

Ya sure, you betcha

Reading comprehension problem????

I noted that there will be changes that will result in lower premiums.

One change (one of many) will be to open up the pool of insureds to nationally.

And there will be many other things that will bring down the premium costs.

NO reading comprehension problems here.

Now, maybe you could tell me what entity, what person, will make insurance companies drop their premiums, insure people with pre-existing conditions, and provide the care consumer's have paid for.

Who or what will make them do that? WHO or WHAT will open the pool?

WHAT "other things " will bring down premiums???????????????????????
