What am I running scared of? Please tell me or stop making things up. It makes you look dishonest.

Who cares if there was never tax protest before.
Because they are nothing except a practice in placing party over principles. You have had 3 decades to protest against fiscal irresponsibility and now all of a sudden when Obama gets nominated, you and Fox News start to care?

Because when the day comes that you have a politician of your tribe in office, and he does the same fiscal things Obama is doing, you won't be out protesting.

Every tea party I have been to - is about Taxes, and the Federal Gov. getting involved in telling the individual States what and how it should govern.

The premise behind the "Tea Parties" is a bit trite. Furthermore, protesting something that's been going on for years, but only protesting now because your party recently lost power, is fairly hypocritical.

So, the protestors' "message" gets lost in the hypocrisy and silliness of it all.

The actual wording in the memo was:

“It looks like Saturday’s event is going to be a huge gathering, estimates ranging from hundreds of thousands to 2 million people,†Thornell wrote in the memo, which was forwarded by a source.

The original intent was to get out the libertarian consevative message and you are right the hypocrisy and silliness started when the {R}s hijacked us.They do not want anything to do with us except to steal our ideas and pervert them.If you look at the candidates we are running the {R} establishment gets behind their opponent.

Obama's inauguration had an attendance between just over 1 million to 1.8 million according to various estimates. I doubt very much that tomorrow's event will draw anything near that.

This estimate is from the democrats, for the sole purpose of saying the Tea Party is a bust if the numbers don't come to that.
