Update: At 10:16, MSNBC went to live coverage. The reporter said the people there were protesting both parties but that Obama and Pelosi were the main targets. He also said with a laugh that he wasn't being warmly received by some of the participants. When told that the estimates for attendance were currently at 10s of thousands, anchor Alex Witt said that she thought there had to be at least 100,000 there base on the aerial photos of Pennsylvania Avenue being shown.

After going to a commercial at 10:20, they came back to an in-studio discussion which lasted at least 5 more minutes. More discussion of the March came with the next story about Obama's schedule for the day.

Yeah, I'd say MSNBC is covering it.

I don't necessarily expect live coverage like Fox News is doing from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, just a story. Am I expecting too much? Will your friends and co-workers even know about it by Monday morning? Do the marchers need to wear outrageous costumes like gay marchers, hold up signs in Spanish like pro-illegal immigrant marchers, carry signs to Free Somebody Who Murdered People, or march naked like anti-fur people, to get the media's attention?

What makes you think any protest groups get media attention? I"ve not heard much about Code Pink BUT I'D LIKE TO FROM THE MEDIA
You will get more attention then they ever have, and FUX "News" is going live.

Didn't Bill O'Rally say "Fu*$ it, we'll do it live!".......????

The War was a lot bigger than a bunch of whiny Republican Liberal Socialists upset because they don't have the keys to the Treasury and can't rack up more bills in the name of the American people....

Yes, in 1970, 71, and 72.

The worldwide ones, which drew millions, were ignored by the media. The media also ignores the plight of Palestinians, to use another example. The media is corporately owned and operated. One has to resort to alternative sources to get the truth

Where are the million protesters in DC today, heck where are the hundreds of thousands?

Tens of thousands of conservative marchers, spurred by what they see as a dangerous expansion of government powers...

>snip<The potential political opportunities for Republican leaders from the protests are being offset by the demonstrators' excesses, such as carrying swastika signs or espousing conspiracy theories over the veracity of Obama's Hawaiian birth, the newspaper said.
