NINA OWCHARENKO: Well, it has massive new federal regulation. So you don’t necessarily need a public option if the federal government is going to control and regulate the type of health insurance that Americans can buy.
O’REILLY: But you know, I want that, Ms. Owcharenko. I want that. I want, not for personally for me, but for working Americans, to have a option, that if they don’t like their health insurance, if it’s too expensive, they can’t afford it, if the government can cobble together a cheaper insurance policy that gives the same benefits, I see that as a plus for the folks.
That's where you're WRONG. People on the right don't like the public option, but they still watch and respect O'Reily because he doesn't follow the straight party line.
Come on now. You and I both know that 80% of the "R"s like whatever they are told to like. If O'Reilly and Beck tells them to like the public option, they'd be all for it. The remaining 20% are able to form their own opinions, but unfortunately they are the minority.

I doubt he supports a public option all of the sudden. He was probably just stating that there can be good aspects to a public option when it comes to "the folks". I can't tell with just one quote. But hey, that's better than nothing. That's why O'reilly is much better than Hannity. At least with him, the democrats are not always evil and the bane of the earth. Still disagree with him on many things though.
Really? I suppose that the hard working of that 90% that have gone bankrupt due to unaffordable health insurance were told what to think when denied insurance or the proper care. I woud think that survival instincts have kicked in at that point.
In the very near future, Bill O'Reilly will get his wish fulfilled and get to interview President Obama on his show. Quid pro quo—that's what it's all about.
Well, I'm pleasantly surprised. Now I'm going to keep my ears open to see if he sticks to it or gets pushed into backing down. Hope he sticks to it. By the way, in an old woman's opinion, he is the best looking of the talking heads.. But then I was always a sucker for an Irishman.
Now I see him as an egotistical loud mouth with common sense.
He is actually more independent than most people give him credit. He's an independent with a conservative lean; and he's also a hyper-sensitive blowhard who likes to bully people. Unlike most posters on this board, especially those on the far left and far right, he can actually think for himself and form his own opinions, irrespective of whether anyone agrees with him or not.
And suddenly many on the left will love the loud mouth baffoon. Go figure...
Even a broken clock can be right once a day.
