NINA OWCHARENKO: Well, it has massive new federal regulation. So you don’t necessarily need a public option if the federal government is going to control and regulate the type of health insurance that Americans can buy.
O’REILLY: But you know, I want that, Ms. Owcharenko. I want that. I want, not for personally for me, but for working Americans, to have a option, that if they don’t like their health insurance, if it’s too expensive, they can’t afford it, if the government can cobble together a cheaper insurance policy that gives the same benefits, I see that as a plus for the folks.
I wouldn't say I love him but I have gained a tremendously great deal of respect for him. He is the only talking head I've heard buck the party line on such an extremely controversial issue

O'Riley isnt part of any party. so he cant buck a line....
And suddenly many on the right love the public option.
If Beck also said the same thing, the "R" loyalists would head out to DC with pitch-forks to demand it.
That's where you're WRONG. People on the right don't like the public option, but they still watch and respect O'Reily because he doesn't follow the straight party line. He actually is very fair if you ever took some time to actually watch him. Last night he sided with Obama regarding another matter. O'Reily will have libs and conservatives on and will debate them and he will side with who he thinks is right, not who is on the right. Get out a little, already.

The only reason he isn't is because he was caught lying. He was a registered Republican for years claiming to be an independent. He only changed his affiliation to independent once he was caught and then made up some bull crap "I didn't know I was allowed to be an independent before" line. Changing his affiliation was the only way he could actually get some people to believe that and maintain some credibility. He is still a Republican at heart, and if voter registrations weren't public records, he would still be registered as one.
And suddenly many on the left will love the loud mouth baffoon. Go figure...
Nah ... he's still kooky. Now he's just a flip flopping kook.
