I'm trying to stay with the balanced position that includes ALL the opinions, the good, the bad, the middling. You are trying to tell us to ignore anything but the most glowing descriptions of her performance, because that's the version you prefer. That's not realistic, which is why I think my method is more valid.
Incorrect. I'm putting the articles out there for people to make their own determinations. You seem to be bent on the reader adopting your interpretation of her performance. You can have your method, I can have mine.
You don't get to dictate how others interpret the reaction to her speech.
I would expect nothing else from obama supporters.
I can't help that you don't understand that I was using sarcasm to make my point. I said sarcastically that I was going to do the same thing you did. Not OK when I do it. OK when you do it. I expect nothing different from you.

I'm not dictating at all. Why would you think that?
I appreciate that you are putting out articles to support your position. I take those comments into consideration.
I also take into consideration comments in other articles.
NYT: Mr Coulter-"wide-ranging, very balanced, beat all expectations."
Mr Goode'-"well-prepared, articulate, held her own"
Again, the consensus is that she did well. Some people were bored. Some people thought her speech was compelling. A range of reactions, with most opinions falling into the "she did well" area. Not brilliant, not bad. I do give more weight to opinions where the person offering the opinion is willing to be identified. I think most people do.

Bully for you. You can take all the comments you want in order to form YOUR opinion. That's it - your opinion.
You forgot "brilliant" in your summary. But, according to your criteria, that one doesn't count. See what I mean? You can take your criteria, considerations and interpretations and form whatever opinion you want.

Yes, that's my opinion. And you have your opinion. And everyone reading has their opinion. And we're both entitled to share why we arrived at our opinions, and possibly provide information to the people reading that will help them forming their opinions.
That's how it works, right?
You post. I post. Other people read our posts, make their comments, form their own opinions. Right?
Once he stopped dictating his interpretation of the event, I can agree to disagree with him.
That doesn't change my opinion of the event.
