I visited friends. They are concerned about crime and they live there. I trust their judgement. I had a wonderful time with my friends. Thanks for caring to ask.

Yes, I have spent time in Chicago at the gift show. Lucky to get home alive.
Also, took in a Cubs game, again lucky to get out alive.

So yes, I have spent time in Chicago sorry to say.

It is one of my least favorite "dumps" in the US besides St Louis, Baltimore, Memphis, Philly and NYC.

No, I was asking you to consider the proximity of El Paso to Ciudad Juarez. And then based on that proximity, if you might concede that given Chicago's size that there might be huge areas of that city that do not have the violent reputation or occurences that certain neighborhoods within the city limits do.

I sense a pattern.

You'd better not visit Atlanta. You'll be lucky to get out alive.

*LOL* Boy, you sure have had a lot of near death experiences in Chicago. I lived in the city for 5 years and never had one.

You just called me stupid again. You aren't hurting my feelings acting like that but you are making yourself look a bit that way by doing it.

Oh my, did Glen beck misspeak?

"Earlier concerns about a secret $100 million Olympic loan were eclipsed today by the mayor’s announcement that the secret deal actually leaves taxpayers responsible for at least one billion dollars in Olympic spending. (Not counting the security budget — more about that below.)"

"That money runs out February 15. Robertson says the city is negotiating with Fortress in the hope that the investment group will pick up the tab again. But he emphasized the company did nothing illegal and has no formal obligation to keep paying. Vancouver took on the role of underwriter when it signed the completion guarantee."

Did you read my comment at the link? It wasn't a rebuttal. Try harder.
