natalay, what you quoted me on originally about this was not about flags.
Which basically means you don't have a lopsided answer for it.

The residents are not forced to live there. If it pains them to not be able to fly their flags then they are able to leave that complex and move somewhere else. However, if they move to another complex they still are not entitled to make common areas (meaning areas that are shared with other residents) "their own" so if they wish to do that they will have to buy their own property .
If you think that's off-topic then it's clear you're not interested in the topic anyway - you just want to scream because a US flag was asked to be taken down.

You have the option. You don't have the money. There is a difference.
How do you know that they are? You don't....it isn't addressed in any of this.
If a flag is attached to car, it is exposed to inclement weather, unless you think the driver of said car is pulling over to remove the flag every time it rains.

what are you talking about? lopsided answer? You are wayyyy off base.

Tkramer was speaking of not being able to hang pictures in his/her apartment. That comment was about that post. Keep up with things. Reading with comprehension is fundamental.

Again, it is off topic, as you didn't clearly read what was being said. You are quoting something that had nothing to do with a flag.

we do not know what the owner is doing. Assumptions, assumptions...
^It would also apply to flags--which IS the topic for this post. You don't own the property, you can't fly flags on the property in contradiction of the owner's wishes. Which addresses all and any flags, not just the U.S. one.

We know the driver won't stop his car in the middle of the freeway and take the flag, fold it neatly, and stow it inside the vehicle.
Heck, most drivers can't even be bothered to get off their cell phones.
