I wonder what tactical advantage of 40,000 fresh troops will provide? I wonder if they will be used as an anvil for the Pakistani hammer in the territories on the mutual border. Crushing the territories would provide a short respite from the attacks in wihch to organize a withdrawal instead of a rout for our, but not Paki forces.

The military guys aren't PAYING for the war. The people in the street are.

40 thousand fresh targets. Winning hearts, minds, and bullets. When the body bags come home, the righties will blame Obama.

The Pakistan government will not do much to help,it is not in their best interests.

We are fighting a force that is supported by our supposed ally in the region.

Default How horrible!

- a president who campaigned on moving the military focus from Iraq to Afghanistan moves the military focus from Iraq to Afghanistan.

Do you support sending more troops and expanding the war in Afghanistan?

What are the goals you think need to be reached?

Very amusing how all of the Bushies now want to "cut and run" though...
