I watch Morning Joe almost everyday. Today he had on Michael Moore who put the cons to SHAME! First of all he pointed out that what capitalism has become in this country is a "pyramid scheme" in which the very few people at the top enjoy fantastic wealth that even the robber barrons of the old days would have envied while those at the bottom quietly accept less and less because they are FOOLED into somehow thinking that they will make it to the top one day! I guess that is why so many American shepple play Lotto! They gripe about taxes but gladly hand over their money to the government every week in hopes that they can choose the 20 million to one odds and win the jackpot!
Then Moore talked about the so called "health care reform" bill that Bacus and Co passed in the Senate. He said that what we have now would actually be better than that bill! He pointed out that, yes, it requires the insurance cartel to accept "pre existing conditions" BUT it is does NOT require tham to PAY when you get sick! The fine for not paying is $5000! So, as he pointed out, if you need a $20,000 by pass operation, what do you think Cigna is going to do? Of course they are going to pay the FINE and stick YOU with the BILL!

Michael Moore has never been debunked. He might be disliked but his movies are spot on the facts! Moore does not advocate communism as a replacement for capitalism. What he- and I- think is that we need to go back to the days of heavy regulation of capitalism and a tax policy that favours the working people over the wealthy. We had wealthy people in the USA in the 50s, 60s and 70s too but we did not have 1% of the population holding more than 95%. We did not have obscene pay being handed out for poor performance on Wall Street and we did not have the government allowing institutions to become so big that the taxpayers have to bail them out to save the economy.

You do realize he was against all the bailouts don't you? And rightfully so.
I saw him this morning too. Brilliant! THose who hate him only throw out these vague one liners. They know he's right, but they feel "weird" agreeing with the guy. He's brilliant and brave to say what he says. Yes, capitalism has become a pyramid scheme. We need to heavily regulate Wall Street. If you aren't outraged, then you aren't paying attention.

Aren't you wondering how much Michael Moor made last year and this year and why he is such a hypocrite and only wants to spread other peoples wealth...I will listen to him when he let's every one see his movie for free....the man made loads of money and has many real estate properties...which to me he deserves...but at the same hand makes him the top 10 of hypocrites!
Who gives a hoot how much he makes?? Yes, he earns his money from the films he makes and appearing on shows. Why aren't they allowed to earn gobs of money? At least he earns his money legally and without raping the poor.
This is my point: those who are against Michael Moore are against him because he's absolutely RIGHT. They can't stand the fact that he is a righteous guy who stands up for the middle class.
