I hadn't followed the story too closely until today. I can't believe anyone would do such a thing. I hope they are fined (of course they have no money) and required to do hours and hours of community service for starters. This is a disgrace. What a wonderful expample the parents are setting for those 3 young boys?
It was NOT funny. They should be charged with whatever they can be. Maybe they can plea deal it down to something less. Does anyone know if they admitted to it? It struck me that the sheriff was on TV saying "it was a hoax." Not "we think" or "it appears." I'm on the fence about what should happen to the kids. I think taking them out of the home might be a little harsh. I don't know. It is hard to tell. Can CPS or the judge, or whoever put conditions on them keeping the kids? Like, complete x number of hours of community service, no more storm chasing with the kids, no reality show that involves the kids, etc?
Ask anyone who has multiple employees or owns a company. You show me a child born in the seventies and I'll show you a 35 year old kid that thinks the world revolves around him or her. Democrats the whole lot of them.
I am 36, a dem, and so do not think the world revolves around me. That is a HUGE generalization. In fact, liberals realize there are other people in the world. It is the cons who act like they are all who matter. Anyway, back to the thread, sorry to hijack.
