I posted a video clip of O'Reilly interviewing Ron Paul here in the section and I wasn't happy with the guy. He was very disrespectful to Ron Paul who happened to be really well informed. In Germany no news commentator is rude towards his guests and would never scream at them or interrupt them in such a mean way.
I got the impression that O'Reilly did not like what Ron Paul (a conservative!!!) said about foreign policies because it was not what his audience wants to hear.
Well, that just shows you that O'Reilly is not the conservative some make him out to be. He is more right-wing than left-wing, but that is a good thing!

Beck does make some good points and does bring up important issues.

Correction: Congress spent a lot on a war. It is Congress which passes the spending bills and proposals. And it depends on which Fox News... do you mean the straight news stories or the commentators? Incidentally, O'Reilly did criticize that war many times. You would know if you watched him on Fox News instead of relying on youtube videos.

Bringing up facts is not necessarily "fear and paranoia." It is just an excuse to attack the messenger.

If you lived in the U.S., and watched Fox News, you just may change your mind about Fox News. Especially when you realize that they report on things the other stations won't. And that they are actually more fair in reporting than CNN and MSNBC.
Just because someone says they're fair and balanced 2000 times a day does not mean that they are. Is Glenn Beck Fair and Balanced? How about O'Reilly? Hannity? These are Fox's top ratings earners.
People watch it because they want to see what absurd thing they say/do next. Sort of like how Howard Stern got high ratings before he wen't over to Sirius.
When I worked the night shift, Fox News was on all the time, its the last thing from fair and balanced. CNN and MSNBC are not any better. Few of them really report on an issue, its more conservative/liberal whining about the issue with little perspective.
