Has anyone looked at the unfunded liabilities? How much will the next generation have to pay each year just to pay the interest?

Sorry kids, our gubmint sold you to the Chinese.

Oh and by the way, I wouldn't keep talking about Clinton leaving a surplus or someone might ask where he got the money from.
You are full of lies. Obama has not spent more money than Bush.

Bush made our army go to war against the wrong country. Iraq had nothing to do with 911.

What can be more horrible than that? do you have any idea how much money was spent in Iraq? (TRILLIONS) how many soldiers from both sides have died, how many Iraqi families were assasinated (children , men , women, old people).

Would you like a foreigner to launch a Tomahawk missile into your house and kill your entire family??? that´s what Bush did...

The U.S. army was taken to war for the wrong reason. They were told we were facing an imminent threat...the reality was that Bush and his oil buddies wanted to take over the Iraqi oil fields, and 911 was the perfect excuse!

$$ money and more money$$

The sheeple would be better off if they put their petty arguments about which political party IN THE PAST had the bigger deficit.

This is 2009. You can't go back and change the past. You can only move forward.
Don't be upset at WHO made this deficit big, be upset that it is that big today.

Both side need to let Congress know that we are upset and they need to do their jobs to get this under control NOW.

I fully agree with this statement.

I haven't read this thread, but I'm sure the OP is well aware that, by every objective assessment, a vast, vast, vast majority of the national debt was accrued before Obama. He has hardly added anything onto it at this point.

You know..the Dems finally have their guy in office and their guys in Congress.
The Dems have control of this administration and what do we hear....

"Bush this and Bush that...". Bush is gone. If you don't start demanding that "your man" take a leadership role and enact policies to contain this then in 3 more years "your man" will be out and another Republican will be in office.

You all spent 1 year blaming Bush. Do you all plan to spend the next 3 doing it as well ?
Demand your Congress and your President start acting like the leaders you wanted.

This is all because of Obama and his socialist policies. Bush also (the only thing I don't like about Bush was debt).
