Maybe it is not such a great idea after all.

The truth is that the balance of 12T is not the most important part of the equation. Growing the GDP is mush more important, because if the GDP grows enough, the 12 trillion is no biggie because it would become affordable. If our debt was 100 trillion, it would not matter if our GDP was 200 trillion.

Edited for self stupidity..I equated "first term" with "first year".
Guess I really don't have a comment but can't delete the post.
