The debt was $8T when Democrats took over Congress, and quadruple that would be $32T.. Its at $12T now, and at just $2T a year for the next 10 years, indeed that takes you to $32T, a quadrupling of the debt. We all know that $2T is being generous, this year alone they are predicting nearly $4T..
Fine, show me the Democrat prediction with number of 32Ttillion on it. Thanks. I know you realize you are sinking deeper and deeper in the quicksand of your made up stories.
Fine..but he is the President now and what has he said about containing it ?
Obama's made a commitment to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term.
I hold him to that promise, so we shall see. I think a lot of people aren't seeing the bigger picture. They're freaking out about deficit spending in a recession (even though every country does it), yet I believe Obama's plan is to spend now, kick start the economy, and then paydown once things are moving again.
The truth is that the balance of 12T is not the most important part of the equation. Growing the GDP is mush more important, because if the GDP grows enough, the 12 trillion is no biggie because it would become affordable. If our debt was 100 trillion, it would not matter if our GDP was 200 trillion.

Let's hope it works!
Edited for self stupidity..I equated "first term" with "first year".
Guess I really don't have a comment but can't delete the post.
