Finally, our society is in good hands. President Barack Obama. Let us be thankful for his place now as our leader. He is supremely capable and doing an excellent job lifting this country out of the Dubya and Republican dark ages. With Obama at the helm, you can bet that the problems that plague this nation, problems neglected by the previous administration, will be dealt with effectively and in a methodical, well-contemplated matter. This is a president who doesn't just unload a bunch of troops in harms way simply because there is a call for more troops. He realizes that Dick Cheney's bogus military effort has been ineffective and accomplishes nothing. He has brought this country out of a recession that took Bush 8 years to build. He has made great progress on National Health Care, something that has been needed for centuries. President Obama is GETTING IT DONE!

Stay tuned, the best is yet to come from this great President...and don't you critics forget it either.

This sounds amazingly like his campaign.

Hope!!! Change!!! YES WE CAN!!!

Unfortunately that all it is, a bunch of positive words hiding the fact that there is no substance or message behind them.

I love good fiction and OP certainly provides good entertainment and comic relief.

You were joking right ? Obama and his Chicago politics ought to worry the heck out of most intelligent people.

I keep asking the question and as of yet no one answers. Can you name 1 honest politician that has come out of Chicago in the last 50 years ?

Yes, I am thankful for politicians that utilize useless words and slogans to get elected AND not only pass a massive stimulus plan full of pork barrel projects that future generations will need to pay back but also NOT following through on many of his promises.. Oh yes.. Very thankful..

I am thankful for Obama too.

Thankful that he has finally awaken some common sense into the independents with his socialist antics which will result in a clean sweep in 2010 Congress and Senate!! He will single-handedly get the GOP back in power next year..... Thanks Big O!!

Failed stimulus, 2 wars on the brink, failed auto bailouts, lies on the UE numbers, lies on the number of jobs "lost", Iran tells him to shove it, Russia uses him as a doormat, China rejects every overture, Israel tells him to stuff it, NKorea is laughing their a**es off, his Asia trip was an utter disaster, has bowed, groveled and apologized around the world, cash4clunkers, a monumental failure, swine flu debacle, 2 huge Blue state defeats, Cap&Tax off the table, the HC debacle, more US deaths in Afghanistan in any previous 7, low morale in the troops, more suicides, he has shattered the spending record, ballooned the deficit and debt the list goes on and on...

and the polls show it.

From a high around 70 to under 50% in less than a ten months.

Not in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine he would have been this much of a disaster.
