IIRC, Andrea admitted in the lawsuit that O'Reilly "did nothing wrong."
I doubt that Fox/O'reilly would have paid her millions if that were the case.
The settlement
On October 28, 2004, O'Reilly and Mackris reached an out-of-court settlement and dropped all charges against each other. No announcements were made about the amount of the settlement.
According to several published reports, as part of the settlement, O'Reilly paid Mackris millions of dollars, but the terms of the agreement are confidential.[6] Mackris' complaint had also sought additional damages and described alleged actions of retaliation by Fox
If Fox had a drama show which depicted Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman as the talk show hosts responsible for the killing of elderly in our nations hospitals under a new healthcare reformed system...
You all would be screaming bloody murder.
And you know it.

Fox shows are mostly dramas with "inaccurate" (to say the least) characterizations of public figures.
I actually watched the episode last night (it was L&O SVU). The guy doing the ranting about right-wing talk show hosts was a nutty left wing ACLU laywer played by John Laroquette. ACLU guy starts out ranting on the police for not reacting quickly enough to catch the bad buy. Then when they catch the murderer, he defends him and wins the case, blaming his actions on "brianwashing" by a right-wing talk radio host. At the end of the show the murderer thanks ACLU guy for getting him off, saying he can go continue the work he started. At which point ACLU guy shoots him dead.
I'm not sure the motivation of the writer, but the show came off with Laroquette playing a parody of all the far-left nutcases and their hatred of talk radio, and a demonstration of the hypcrocay of same. Plus a cause-effect of bleeding-heart ACLU lawyers helping the guilty escape justice. In comparison the right-wing talk show host they had came out looking good.
What's a leftie ACLU lawyer doing with a gun anyway?
