Try this link and if you don't want to hear anything Beck says, then just google, Van Jones, PowerShift '09 and listen to the whole speech.

Ah well, I wouldn't want you to have to do your own search so here is a link to the whole speech.

Remember that one day Beck cut a watermelon on his show and sure enough that green watermelon was red inside. Well now, Jones speaks so hard about Green and he sure has admitted to being a communist so maybe some of Beck's words about him aren't so false. I wonder what color Jones is on the inside. I bet it isn't green.
1. Stop posting anything Glenn Beck says. He's a proven liar and anything he presents is going to be completely distorted from the truth.

2. As much as you would like to think I'm just a mindless liberal who consumes liberal propaganda in the way you consume conservative propaganda, I'm not. I've never even read Huff Post or Daily Kos.

3. Most importantly: I watched that Van Jones speech you posted. I didn't hear ONE hint of Communist sentiment. Please post the exact quotes you believe are him being Communist. His entire speech was about using the power of the market's green economy to raise up the most downtrodden. That's not "redistributing" wealth - that's using the capital on Native American reservations around which to build an economy.

Sounds more adherent to Christ than Mao.

See, Roy, what Glenn Beck does to those who won't think for themselves? He hears the phrase "give them the wealth" and convinces them that it means to simply give hand outs. It would be the same as saying, "Give the people who have coal in their mountains the wealth by paying them for that coal!" or "Give the people who have timber on their land the wealth by paying them to harvest and use that timber!"

But Beck would never oppose that because it's the coal and timber, for which we have been giving rural communities the wealth for generations and building a strong nation in the process. The minute someone talks about building a similar economy around the sunlight and wind atop one's land, suddenly it's Communist?

No. It's not. It's the same free market principles at work that fuel economies around timber, coal, and oil today, only Jones is talking about harnessing the vast economic power of renewable energies to improve the quality of life for those most in need.

This was the heart of Beck's hit job based on lies and manipulation, targeting a very uneducated audience that is rooted in fear and has no idea of the vast potential of our society to build the sustainable industries of tomorrow.

This sickens me, Roy. Beck's followers have been brainwashed and are being left behind. Beck is a filthy liar who is preventing us from creating the industries of tomorrow by pushing people like Jones out of positions of power.

You have presented your evidence. Done. Case closed. You lose. Beck loses. And, unfortunately, America and humanity lose because of his lies.

OH! I saw a few minutes of his "interview/talk" with that singer. I wondered what was up with that, had that guy become a raving lunatic, seeing communists around every corner too!

Good point, Meson. Maybe Beck is finally being reigned in a bit!

His lies and distortions can't be helping improve FOX's perceived reputation for "true and balanced reporting" that's for sure.

Maybe because one was people marching to publicly inform us of their sexual preferences in the bedroom, and the other was a nation-wide protest against out of control spending by the federal government?

I saw about 5 minutes of that show you refer to and didn't see anything to watch so went elsewhere. All his shows this past week have been very much like that one and I think the season is the main reason.

I just read his list of resolutions before reading you here and I think you will see him getting back to business Monday. He said only that he didn't intend to back down from the administration and its "leader". If he doesn't live up to his resolution he loses one viewer and one member of his e-mail group.

I think I may bet you that he has not slowed down a bit. Of course, I watched his best of show last night and was highly entertained by parts of it and I got re-excited at others.

You saw those stories days after Fox first reported them, I'll bet, but I don't expect you to know it.

Btw, is there a John Birch Society "club" out there where you live? I'm sure you'd find many members of the JBS would agree with you and support you and Glenn Beck.
Not as gullible, you say? Why of course I know that all of you are very gullible as is demonstrated by your desire to succumb to the desires of Obama and your acceptance of all his crap in 2008. Now all that was a great example and demonstration of gullibility.

The John Birch Society was in its heyday when I was a confirmed liberal back in the day before liberals took over the Democrat Party. Yep, they do have a number of things that I would agree with but I just don't know where there is a group of them. Maybe you could put your esteemed research capabilities to work for me and find me some clubs.

'Nuff said. You're own man, Jon Stewart, even recognized the absence of investigative journalism by the MSM on the ACORN issue.

Please point out some lies that Beck told in that video. I just couldn't find any, but then we see from a different frame of reference.

Boy am I glad to find a lib that doesn't read those damnable sites. Of course, you didn't bring in TPM, Media Matters or some of those great sites that I also don't read except for laughs. I never go to them without someone referring me to them.

That Jones speech was to very young people of college age and it was nothing less than an Al Gore rant about Green. As I said, I wonder just what color Jones is inside. Yes, he is one of that communist group that saw the green movement as a great chance to ease their red thinking into the minds of people like that group he was talking to.

Lets look at the statement by Jones to those kids about who owns the property where most wind farms and solar units will have to be built. We have a couple of Indian reservations in our state and a number of wind farms and not one of those farms is on a reservation. Those dirty white people who Jones was referring to just happen to own everything in this state and where else can you find better wind farm territory? Well Jones does point at himself in that speech while saying what we did to the Indians. I guess he considers himself a member of the nasty group that has to give back to the Indians.

How much do you know about the way our government has tried so hard to pay the Indians back? I taught a boy who was about 3/4 Indian in high school who was a great football player who didn't worry about where he could get an athletic scholarship since with 1/8 provable Indian blood he could get books, tuition, room and board from the government. He really enjoyed his college football because of that situation.

Lets see, who gets most of the casinos in this part of the world. Why it is the tribes to be truthful and they sue everybody who tries to change that situation.

If Jones wasn't howling about redistribution of wealth I really don't know what he was saying. He talked about giving immigrants what they have coming and didn't say one qualifying word about illegal or legal.

Nope, the man has declared himself a communist so I take his word for that. When there are videos of him talking like that I just can't be on his side. I like the look of that man so much that when he starts one of his rants I am shocked that he could be trying to talk those college students into being useful idiots for his movement but there is the proof.

I guess I need to speak to your talk about the industries of tomorrow. I don't think that green will do anything for the common man. Only those like Algore will really make anything from that movement. Groups like the Sierra Club will benefit from it but I keep wondering what we do for power until we get the real movement that is supposed to provide all those green jobs. We aren't to be allowed to use the working sources but who can tell me how long it will be before the new things are ready to work for us on a necessary basis.

BTW, I think that i am old enough and learned enough about brain washing from reading about the Korean War and the Chinese being refuted by Americans of both races that it might be a little tough to brain wash me. I don't mind you calling me the names you call Beck's supporters because many of them that I know are not stupid. We are all just plain anti-liberal so we go along with someone like Beck. I just can't see that he has brainwashed any more people than Obama did. Sorry, but it isn't from stupidity.
