No real surprise here. Remember this study doesn't show that all conservatives on average have a lower IQ than liberals, but conservatives that identify themselves as social conservatives AKA Christian Taliban tend to have a much lower IQ than liberals and conservatives that are socially liberal. Explains a lot about some of the post and posters on this board.

They probably miss out on a lot of critical thinking development because Jesus tells them what to do all the time.

I agree with the findings of the study.

Social conservatives are basically social communists. They would prefer ONE TRUE WAY that everyone should be compelled by society and the government to live, dictated by a holy book. Which is a lazy way of looking at life.


Maybe if we all started to call them social communists or behavioral socialists instead of "social conservatives", they would start some introspection (yeah, I know, that might be wishful thinking).

Sudies show that blacks have lower IQs than whites.

No wonder they vote for democrats.

democrats are basically economic communists.

I think we should start calling them that. Maybe they would introspect a little before telling me how and what I can spend my money on.
