and I am among the pro lifers that believe there are times when abortion is the answer: this certainly is one of them. oh and mommy says daughter and baby are fine: wow, how exciting. Maybe she and boyfriend need to do some soul searching..

It's a double standard, if it's killing (as you say it is), it is killing no matter how the female got pregnant.

Sadly, this is not the youngest age on record for a girl to give birth. Many of you, I am sure, read in the same initial article where back in 1933, a 6 year old from India gave birth to a baby boy. Both instances (and these are the ones we hear about) make me so sick that I really feel that I would violently hurt the predator who did this to these poor babies. I also cannot help but hold the mother highly responsible for what has happened to her daughter. She deserves just as much punishment as the piece of crap boyfriend of hers because this child is supposed to be the one person in the world for whom she would lay down her life. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? That reminds me of that CRAZY, evil woman in Fayetteville, NC, who sold her baby girl into prostitution just months ago, and the child was raped and murdered. I have to believe that there is a place in hell awaiting these people. That is the only thing that brings me any comfort.

I totally agree. It would be nice if BOTH men and women would value their virginities and wait until marriage. That would eliminate so many issues in our society due to out of wedlock births.

The main point within the Pro Life community is where Abortion is used as a method of Birth Control. Where it is inconvienent to have a baby - so it is aborted.
Rape, Incest and to save the life of the mother are not used in that fashion.

Agreed. 35 years ago, as a public health nurse, I had a client who had a baby at 11, courtesy of rape by the mother's boyfriend. Two years later she had another one. I don't remember the identity of that FOC.
My father, who worked as a respiratory therapist early in his career, took care of a 25-year-old grandmother many years ago.
