this should not happen in our society. children are being ROBBED of their chance to have a childhood by men who need to be in jail, and possibly mothers who need to be in jail as well.
No, not really. Pregnancies resulting from rape constitute about 1% of all abortions; from incest, under 0.5% (Guttmacher statstics); and give me more than five examples of cases in which the mother HAD to abort the child to stay alive (except ectopic pregnancies, which can be morally removed) and I'll give you a cookie. I don't agree with abortion in these cases, but such exceptions would only allow roughly 2% of current abortions, outlawing all the rest.

The main point within the Pro Life community is where Abortion is used as a method of Birth Control. Where it is inconvienent to have a baby - so it is aborted.
Rape, Incest and to save the life of the mother are not used in that fashion.

IF a person says they are against abortion because they believe it's murder or taking a life or is cruel....then
they MUST believe that it is ALWAYS murder or taking a life or cruel.
To change their minds when it's rape or incest PROVES they are NOT worried about murder or cruelty but OTHER PEOPLE'S MORALS....
So you're trying to enforce your morality on others. You believe women should be punished for having consensual sex.
It's a double standard, if it's killing (as you say it is), it is killing no matter how the female got pregnant.
So you're only against abortion when you want to punish and blame. It has nothing to do with the fetus.
